Welcome! My name is Damian Urbańczyk, and I’ve officially run my own lutherie workshop since 2020.
During this time, I’ve created over 20 handmade instruments and performed hundreds of repairs and services on my clients’ guitars. Building instruments is my passion – I invite you to explore my world!
About me
My name is Damian Urbańczyk
Since 2020, I have officially operated my own lutherie workshop. I began my career by servicing instruments, learning the construction and design of guitars from the ground up—a subject that has fascinated me for as long as I can remember.
From an early age, I had a passion for technical work and hands-on craftsmanship. My love of automotive mechanics, which demands precision and technical expertise, combined with my passion for music, naturally led me to building instruments from scratch. It is through lutherie that I can fully express my sensitivity, sense of aesthetics, and artistic approach.
I built my first instrument in 2021 using only hand tools. It was created in the basement of a historic townhouse in Opole and marked the beginning of a journey that has since become both my everyday life and my greatest passion.
I come from a small town located in the picturesque Kraków–Częstochowa Upland. Throughout my life’s journey, I have lived and developed my skills in many places across Poland. Today, I live in Częstochowa, where I run my instrument workshop and repair service.

Great workshop, great luthier! I took my guitar in for a tune-up (string lowering, sanding, etc.) and now my oar is singing a tango! If I’d calculated the price of the instrument and the service, I wouldn’t have bought such a good instrument at that price. It’s worth it! Now I have even more fun playing!
